Some of you might noticed/know that I cancelled my classes over the bank holiday weekend. You may have wondered why, but I felt as we were exiting the quiet period of summer, I should give everyone a break. Instead of trying to arrange cover for my classes, I decided to cancel them for this one time.
So instead of teaching, I went up to the Peak District to attend a friend’s wedding. Their festival themed wedding – aptly called Wedstock – was pretty amazing, as was the location!
On Sunday I attended an aerial yoga beginners workshop and a restorative aerial yoga class in Leeds. It was a great experience, especially as doing aerial yoga had been on my list of things to do for a while. I really enjoyed this practice and feel it gives you access to some more/deeper stretching that is almost impossible to do in regular yoga. Hopefully I’ll be able to blog about this in more detail soon – keep your eye out for a post about it!
My weekend ended, like most people’s I’m afraid, with a very wet and autumnal Monday that felt like a Sunday. I had decided to break up my drive down from Leeds by visiting a friend in Birmingham. This did make for a long day, but again one filled with friends and fun. And a lovely, wet, walk!
Hopefully you all enjoyed your bank holiday weekend as much as I did and made the most of the break in my regular yoga classes. Remember my regular Friday and Sunday classes are back on as normal starting this week.
